CYF began in the early 1970's, when several men in Yreka had a dream to provide guidance, mentoring, sportsmanship, and FUN!! To the boys and girls in Northern Siskiyou County.

Since that time the organization has survived the same way as it was begun--through the service of VOLUNTEERS!! There have been hundreds if not thousands of volunteers during the last 30+ years that have kept this outstanding sports program active and we say a great big "THANK YOU" to each and every one of them. This is a great group of people to be included in thier company.

This is your OPPORTUNITY and INVITATION to join this great group of people who have donated time, knowledge, wisdom, and mentoring skills to the young people of Northern Siskiyou County. Maybe you were one of these young people.

WE NEED YOU to make the 2010 Football Season a SUCCESS!! Contact your Athlete's Coach or any CYF Official (these people are very easy to recognize at practices, games, or other CYF Events--they are all wearing NorCalFed ID badges around thier necks) to arrange when we can count on you to make a COMMITMENT to make sure this dream that started in the last century survives just one more year.

While you are deciding on what and when you are going to volunteer look at the Alumni Page which is dedicated to all the young people that participated in CYF and now volunteer to make sure that the program which helped them is here to help other children in the years to come.

After you have decided to join the other volunteers who are our CHAMPIONS simply E-Mail Us or contact your Athlete's Coach or any CYF Official and tell them you are a CHAMPION!!
